The title of this article is also the conclusion. To practice building UIs from famous apps can improve your skills. That is what I have learned. Also, you have to refer many documents, including blogs and articles, from some APIs/SDKs of some platform for why, what and how to use simultaneously. From imitating them, you will polish your skills and skip some obstacles, which are someone has fallen on. It’s same like read codes of open-source projects. It makes you from beginner to junior and middle-class.

I think someone to be considered as a senior designer/engineer must have to familiar and achieve UI/UX products or projects of different mobile and web platform. Besides, someone must follow information from annual conferences and releases of major platforms. He or she must understand which new or existing component will meet commercial requirements. If there is no off-the-shelf component to use, someone must know how to modify something, including components and flows, to comply commitment and requirement.

Aboved are my humble opinions.

我認為要具備資深設計師或工程師，必須熟悉和搭建過不同行動和網頁平台的產品和專案 UI。此外，也必須有跟上主流平臺每年度舉辦的開發者會議和釋出的設計建議與準則。他或她，必須知道哪些現成的元件可以符合工作上的需求，如果沒有現成的元件可以使用，它必須知道如何修改哪些項目，包含元件和流程，以達成上級做的承諾和需求功能。
